Planning the Right Food for a Disney Princess Party
Hi Moms, I have been thinking about the food I have seen at the many princess parties I’ve attended. Some of you are amazing at creating banquets fit for a queen! Tables graced with spectacular treats and elaborate spreads, they would rival some weddings. But from my experience, the food can be very simple as well. It’s really your preference when it comes to throwing a princess party. The children seem to enjoy both extremes. So here are a few tips on feeding the princesses and princes coming to your next DISNEY PRINCESS PARTY.
The #1 food served at princess parties is...pizza. I know, big surprise. It’s simple, easy, very inexpensive and you know all the children will eat. I'm sure everyone would agree that having all the children eating is good. Add cake and ice cream and you are all set. The princess is the big hit of the day so pizza is really quite adequate. You will see happy children with lots of smiles with this menu.
If you are wanting something a bit more elegant, why not have tea sandwiches cut in the shapes of hearts and stars. There are many different types you can make. It might be best to have a variety for the children to choose from. Peanut butter and jelly, ham and cheese, turkey and cheese are just a few good options. Cutting them in the shapes of hearts and stars brings a nice princess flair. Add some chocolate covered strawberries, sweet grapes and homemade cupcakes and you have a table most children will eat up.
The sky is the limits in the area of food. I have seen some parties with a lower table full of kids favorites such as: chicken nuggets, french fries, pizza, little hamburgers etc. The lower table makes it easy for the kids to pick and choose for themselves. Usually there is an adult table as well full of all the things Moms and Dads like to eat.
However simple or grand you chose to go. Your party will be a hit! Have fun with your food and keep a close eye on this blog for more great ideas.
